CARING FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE
Cading for people with PD requires an understanding of the condition, along with kindness, patience and time. During the course students will be expected to participate in group discussions and complete a Self-Assessment.
This course is designed to assist carers and management explore ways of minimising the impact of the condition on the resident and others around them. One of the options we explore is how the environment can have a positive impact, making the job of caring for the individual easier and more effective without the need for controversial medication.
