HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and Safety at Work describes measures designed to protect not only the health and safety of staff but also that of others such as visitors and members of the public who may be are affected by workplace activities.  There are thousands of accidents in the workplace every year - the annual cost of lost production is in excess of £4.5 billion.

Summary:  This course explains the relevant legislation, and how this applies to the workplace.  Students take part in role-play discussions to consider how Health & Safety issues can be identified and controlled in their own work environment.
